Hurray! Rapper Jay Z is America's Most Streamed Artist

American rapper Shawn Corey Carter, known by his stage name Jay Z has recently been declared is America's top streaming artist. 


According a streaming music blog “Music Machinery” created a color-coded map of the United States which designates each state's most wanted artist. The color-coded map is set up akin to an Electoral College map, with music research company Echo Nest supplying the streaming data. 

The U.S entirely are great lovers of Hip-Hop and it is no doubt that a large part of the state continue to show their supports towards the Hip-Hop music. It is estimated that Twenty-two of the fifty states handed Hov the crown, with Florida, the Carolinas and the Northeast region being among his zealots.

The South America has the majority of its streams ascribed to popular Toronto born rapper - Drake, and Oklahoma, Texas, and Louisiana are among the states and other popular rappers include Eminem, plus Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, are other MCs who were charted.
