NEWS| Michael Brown's Cousin, “Tony Petty” Beaten With Pipe by an Unidentified man for Selling Merchandise

From all indications  family members of Michael Brown have come to some serious blows over his grandmother, Pearlie Gordon, and cousin Tony Petty, attempting to use his death in order to sell merchandise and make a profit off of his death. Michael Brown’s  mum, Lesley McSpadden, has made it clear previously  that she does not want her son's tragic death to become a part of any money-making-machine, but his grandmum and cousin didn’t adhere to what she said.

The incident took place on Saturday, October 18th, just a few blocks away from where Michael Brown was shot and killed by Officer Darren Wilson, in the parking lot of Red's BBQ around 8:15 pm. According to unidentified sources who reported back to the police, Brown's grandmother Pearlie Gordon and cousin Tony Petty were selling a variety of Michael Brown merchandise, which included t-shirts and other items prominence his death to earn some quick cash.

Michael Brown’s  mother Lesley got wind of the parking lot transactions, and rolled up to the spot extremely heated and jumped out of the car screaming, "You can't sell this sh*t," according to one of the witnesses.  His mom demanded to see an official patent to prove that his grandmother Pearlie and cousin Tony had the right to sell his items, but instead violence erupted.

Both his grandmother and cousin failed to show proper documentation, or the person with Lesley ran out of patience to wait for them to pull out their paperwork, because that's when the unidentified man struck cousin Tony with a metal pipe across his face. Police were called to the scene and Tony was taken to the Christian Northeast Hospital to have his wounds examined. Worsening the whole matter, the man who struck him with a pipe fled the scene with their merchandise and a box full of $1,400 in cash.
The entire assault was caught on camera, but no arrests have been made at this time.
